It’s now the time of year when magazines start handing out awards for the top music technology products—and Avid® certainly isn’t going away empty-handed.

At Audio Pro International magazine’s annual Audio Pro Awards, a panel of more than 100 industry experts and executives cast their votes and declared Pro Tools® 8 software the “Best New Studio Product” of 2009. DJmag.com just gave the M-Audio® BX8a Deluxe monitors their “DJ Tech Award,” naming them the best studio monitors of the year for DJs and producers. And to top it all off, the UK Music Industries Association just named the versatile M-Audio Axiom® MIDI controller their “Home Studio Product of the Year.”
