Digidesign, M-Audio & Sibelius rock the London International Music Show

Digidesign, M-Audio & Sibelius rock the London International Music Show
Reporting back from a busy LIMS show in June...

June 2008 saw the launch of the inaugural London International Music Show at ExCeL, and M-Audio (along with sister companies Digidesign & Sibelius) went along for the ride.

Exhibiting as part of the Sound Recording Technology Hall, sponsored by Sound on Sound, this was the first European event at which all three companies (M-Audio, Sibelius and Digidesign) exhibited together.

Missed the show? Here are some highlights:

    * Digidesign gave an advanced look at Transfuser, the new RTAS® virtual instrument plug-in for Pro Tools.

    * Digidesign also demonstrated Pro Tools systems for music creation on Mac and PC with recently announced support of Pro Tools 7.4.2 for Leopard.

    * M-Audio unveiled two brand new products: the ProKeys Sono digital pianos, and the Fast Track Ultra 8R USB 2.0 audio interface – both being shown for the first time in the UK.

    * DJ and M-Audio demonstrator J-Me*, performed throughout the four days on Torq Xponent DJ controller/software system.

    * Sibelius 5.2, the latest version of the world’s best-selling music notation software, was demonstrated featuring complete support for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and Windows Vista and the Ideas Hub – a revolutionary way for composers and arrangers to capture and reuse their flashes of inspiration.

All in all a hugely exciting event for M-Audio (and all the other companies involved too we hope). We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
